Silicone O-Rings

-000 Series - 0.070 - 1/16" CSSilicone O-Rings
Silicone materials offer outstanding temperature resistance across a broad range, from -65F to 450F. Silicone materials provide excellent resistance to sunlight, ozone, oxygen, UV light and moisture. It's inert qualities make it the preferred material for use with food handling and medical applications. Silicone offers poor tensile, tear and abrasion resistance, and are not recommended for dynamic applications.

Buna-N 70 O-rings

-001 N70 Buna-N Nitrile 70 O-ring
 Buna-N 70 O-rings
Buna-N 70 Durometer O-Rings are the most common material O-Rings produced. Buna-N also known as Nitrile rubber, NBR, or acrylonitrile butadiene. It is the least expensive of the oil resistant elastomers, and is readily available in all AS568 O-Rings and most Metric O-Ring sizes. As well as the individual O-Rings, we stock a good variety of Buna-N O-Ring Kits on our online store. This material is also very common in Hydraulic and Pneumatic Seals.

Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) O-rings

Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) O-rings

The Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS B 2401) lists 194 sizes of O-Rings which are unique to Japan's automotive and manufacturing industries. At The O-ring Store we stock these sizes and have them separated into their P, G, V, and S series. They are available in both Buna-N 70 Durometer and Viton (FKM) 75 Durometer.

Rubber Toughened Glue

Besides all the information below and technical information on the website we have found this is the best O-Ring glue available. We have been selling Palm Labs products for years and have really have found a great product in the black rubber toughened glue.
Available in the following sizes:
Black Rubber Toughened O-ring Glue 2gm Vial
Black Toughened Cyanoacrylate Glue - 300 Viscosity 1/2oz Bottle
Black Toughened Cyanoacrylate Glue - 300 Viscosity 1oz Bottle
Black Rubber Toughened O-ring Glue -2 oz Bottle
Black Toughened Cyanoacrylate Glue - 300 Viscosity 4oz Bottle
Black Toughened Cyanoacrylate - 2400 Viscosity 1/2oz Bottle
Turbo Fuse Black Rubber Toughened cyanoacrylate adhesive is excellent for bonding parts that may need some flexibility or shock resistance after bonding. This formula is widely used in the Aerospace, Automotive, O-Ring Splicing, Sound Speaker and Electronic industries. Turbo Fuse Series 143B O-Ring glue is ideal for use in applications that require an easily handled medium viscosity adhesive. It works especially well in close to medium fitting applications such as unfinished metal to metal bonding, metal to rubber, and rubber to rubber, such as "O" ring repair/manufacture. The Black Toughened formula is especially good for O-ring splicing and sound speakers.
High Impact, Shock absorbent, Black Color

Turbo Fuse Black Rubber Toughened Cyanoacrylate Adhesive Viscosity 300

Turbo Fuse Series 143B – Black Rubber Toughened Cyanoacrylate Adhesive advanced formula is designed to polymerize instantly by absorbing surface moisture. The product's performance has been tested with a variety of materials, and is recommended for a multitude of applications. The fast curing qualities make it especially desirable in high speed industrial production. Palm Lab's Cyanoacrylate is a one component rapid bonding adhesive.

Certain elastomers can make O-rings & rubber seals expensive with a long lead time. The O-ring Store provides Viton Extreme ETP in 3 Weeks or less at a great price.

Viton ETP O-rings
When someone looks at an O-ring or molded rubber seal, they usually don’t think it can cost upwards to several hundred dollars apiece. Most of the time, general-purpose seals are only a few cents or dollars apiece. The cost of the O-ring or rubber seal is greatly affected by the elastomer used to make it. The most popular and least expensive elastomer is nitrile (Buna). More than fifty percent of sealing needs can be met using nitrile. While every seal serves the same purpose (to block the passage of liquid or gas) they are all exposed to different environments. Many demanding industries like oil field machinery and chemical processing can expose rubber seals to extreme temperatures and caustic fluids on a daily basis. Sometimes, rubber seals made from specialty elastomers are the only thing that will withstand those applications. You certainly wouldn’t want to use the same O-ring you put in your kitchen sink as you would four miles below the earth’s surface in a drill bit.

Rubber seals made from perfluoroelastomers offer the best resistance to high temperatures and chemicals…but at a high cost.

Rubber seals made from perfluoroelastomers can resist continuous service temperatures of up to 600°F. There is no other elastomeric material that can offer such resistance. Standard elastomers can usually seal up to 400°F. Pefluoroelastomers also have inherent reisistance to aggressive chemicals. O-rings and molded rubber seals made from perfluoroelastomers resist more chemicals than seals made from any other elastomer. As you may have guessed, any seal made from a perfluoroelastomer will cost a significant amount. Unless you’re willing to shell out the big bucks, you might want to consider a viable alternative.

The O-ring Store's Domestic and Import Viton® Extreme (ETP) offers a less expensive alternative to perfluoroelastomers at a much reduced lead time, 3 weeks or less.

The O-ring Store's compound, CV75, is made from a Viton® Extreme (ETP) polymer. While that material can only be used in service temperatures up to 400°F, it offers reliable service similar to a perfluorelastomer in aggressive chemicals, but at a fraction of the cost. O-rings and molded rubber seals made from perfluoroelastomer can cost up to six times more than those made from Viton® ETP.
